The Workshop
On Sunday, December 6th, up to 20 photographers with 2 years or less full time wedding experience will gather from 9–5pm for an intense and fun interactive workshop that will help you “Go Pro” or more pro, with confidence.
Workshop teachers Ashley Garmon and Jenn Lindberg will combine their 18 plus years of wedding shooting experience to give you insider advice on how to have powerfully effective client meetings (even at Starbuck’s), how to design a work flow that works for you, portfolio reviews, marketing tips, social media and more.
The workshop will be held at the Four Seasons Austin and the $249 workshop fee includes both breakfast and lunch.
Both Ashley and Jenn started their businesses from scratch and know first hand what it’s like to launch a wedding business in a competitive urban market. Bring your portfolios and your burning questions…

FAQ‘s
Q.) Okay Ashley and Jenn: what is “Boda Foto” and what does it mean?
A.) The actual meaning of the word “Boda” in Spanish is—drum roll please—wedding. We wanted a fun name for our workshops—say it 3 times in row and we dare you to tell us it’s not fun!
In all seriousness, Boda Foto Workshops is about providing extremely high quality educational workshops for aspiring and emerging professional wedding photographers. We love to teach and mentor photographers. We’ve attended lots of workshops ourselves and know how to ‘bring it’ for our workshop attendees. We’ll answer your burning questions and give plenty of insider information about going pro.
Q.) Who is this workshop for?
A.) The next Boda Foto Workshop will be held on December 6th and is limited to up to 20 photographers with 2 years or less full time wedding photography experience.

A.) Yes. This is a very specialized workshop for aspiring, new and emerging professionals in the wedding photography industry. Our content is focused very specifically for this group. Please stay tuned for other upcoming workshops geared towards other interests.

Q.) How long does the workshop last?
A.) We start at 9am on Sunday and finish our workshop at 5pm. The last 90 minutes of the workshop are dedicated to one on one portfolio reviews and we’ll answer any burning questions you have.

A.) It’s critical that you bring us a portfolio that you have, or are already working on, because we’ll be doing one on one portfolio reviews.
